TESTIMONIALS

A huge thank you to my lovely clients who have written such kind things. I am very lucky to work with such enthusiastic people and the benefits they feel are a credit to the effort that they put in.

Thank you for both the sensitive and thorough way you guide us through each class. I have a way to go yet but I have kept on telling people how fantastic it is to have found a class I both enjoy and feel that I’m benefiting from already…and look forward to keeping on with. That is a small miracle because I’ve tried a few!! Sarah B.

I find the classes really help to even out my muscle imbalances and strengthen my weak areas. I work as a chiropractor and ride as an amateur event rider in my free time. Both of which cause problems. Suzie while having a sense of humour, also keeps an eye on everybody in the class and fine tunes our movements so we get the best from each session. Nicola T.

As a Premier League Assistant Referee the importance of fitness and flexibility is fundamental and critical to perform at the highest level of the game. I have no doubt seen and felt a huge benefit and transformation in my overall core strength, balance, control and well being. This has culminated in my on field performances being optimised and better still, far less niggles and injury’s as a result. The best thing is, my sprint times are less now than they were 10 years ago!! The sessions are fantastic, inclusive and most of all fun. I can only say everyone should look to do Pilates!” Derek E.

I struggled with bouts of back pain and some inflexibility (not ideal as a part-time ski-instructor). My physio suggested Suzie to help develop a stronger core and more range. Both greatly improved - and I’m also more self-aware about my body. Mathew R.

Suzie is the only teacher I have come across who gives attention to everybody in the class, she always remembers her client’s injuries and offers modified positions to accommodate individual needs. Her style of teaching is highly effective with a sprinkling of fun which makes her classes really enjoyable. Suzie has a wonderful way of explaining movements and helping the class to visualise what they need to try to achieve. As no two classes are the same, this combination helps us to learn, focus and achieve. My back is the strongest it has been for years. Kelly E.

Suzie’s classes are always different and often challenging, which is what I enjoy so much. She explains things in easy to understand language and I always feel like I have had a whole body workout the next day! Alison P

I started Pilates at the recommendation of my doctor and since attending classes have had no further back problems as I am now more supple. Suzie is an excellent Pilates instructor, mindful of everyone’s health issues whilst encouraging us to achieve. Marilyn B.

I took up Pilates on the advice of a friend as I had experienced lower back and hip pain due to an old rugby injury. It’s transformed my life so that I can exercise and do manual work regularly without pain. Dominic S

I started online pilates with Suzie. I am a physio myself but due to the pandemic had changed from moving constantly to being desk based for the first time in my life. I had started getting some neck and back pain and although I was running and doing some yoga it wasn’t hitting the spot.

I have done some APPI Pilates in the past but Suzie’s classes are the best I’ve been to in terms of variation of exercises and how she talks you through different movements. I always feel amazing the day after and about two inches taller! I havent had any neck or back pain since. Thankyou Suzie! Jo R.

Suzie is an excellent teacher and offers exercises for all ages and abilities. She explains each exercise really well and is a very approachable person ready to help with advice on Pilates if she can. I have been going to her good value, friendly classes now for about 3 years and they have really helped me to keep supple and balance well, good for an up and coming OAP! Janice W.

Following more than 25 years of lower back, neck and shoulder problems seeing physios, osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists and a whole lot2 of other treatments ending in a spinal fusion 4 years ago, I had been struggling to find a balance of doing something to get me moving and strengthen my muscles whilst accepting that I can’t do some of the things I used to. I started Pilates with Suzie just over a year ago, and I confess I was a bit dubious as I had tried yoga and didn’t find it helped me much. Whilst I am still not the most flexible person, I am definitely stronger. My physio, who told me my glutes didn’t know how to work before I started, says they now have a spark of life in them! If it wasn’t for Suzie’s garden Pilates and zoom classes during this pandemic, I am not quite sure where I would be. She shows patience and understanding especially when one week I might be able to do a particular move and the next week I can’t, and offers advice on tweaks that can be made to suit me. I would strongly recommend this to anyone! Angharad H

I joined Suzie’s class after undergoing surgery for a back injury. Her classes have made a huge difference in my recovery and there are clear differences in my spines mobility. She is able to adapt moves to protect my injury and give advice on what will help it. Her classes are good fun and I have always been made to feel welcome. I would definitely recommend them. Heather D.

I started Pilates with Suzie to help keep my back strong and flexible. Finding a good instructor is not easy, I had been looking for a long time. As a qualified physiotherapist Suzie's knowledge of building core strength and improving mobility and flexibility is vast and enables her to tailor her advice to specific areas of pain or tightness. I have definitely felt the difference in my flexibility since being introduced to her. Amy GB

I have been doing Pilates for 12 years during which time I’ve had a hip replacement. Since starting with Suzie I have found her classes informative and helpful to keep me both motivated and moving correctly. She explains everything clearly and takes time with us as individuals to work on our strengths and weaknesses. Wendy B.

Suzie’s Pilates classes came recommended to me by a respected physio, forming part of my rehabilitation. Subsequently, I continued these as my core strength, flexibility and overall fitness improved. I have found Suzie really helpful in suggesting specific exercises and she actively seeks feedback to enhance her classes. I look forward to her classes as they have greatly improved my wellbeing and I really appreciate her knowledge and encouragement. Clare J
